Welcome to the new Peachstate Woodturners website. We moved the site to a new server, and decided this was also a good time to improve on the old site a bit. Over the next few days, all the features of the old site will be returned to the new site, as well as some new features to make the site even better. The Georgia Association of Woodturners (GAW), dedicated to providing education, information and organization to those interested in woodturning, will be presenting its annual symposium, “Turning Southern Style XIV”. This year’s event will again be held at the Unicoi State Park and Lodge near Helen, Georgia on September 19-21, 2008.

Functional

You may enter 3 pieces in each category. Entry fee is $ 5.00 per piece.

Congratulations, and thanks to the support of Georgia clubs added prize monies this year will include:

There will be 4 places in each of the 5 categories:
First place $ 200.00, second place $150.00, third place $ 100.00 and fourth place $50.00.

In addition, there will also be 20 merit awards paying $50.00 each and a best of show prize of $ 400.00.

Better get working on your entries and earn some of this money.
This means there will be a total of 40 places paid for work presented.
